What is on your slip

| Less: stones, lac or dirt | Weight that is not gold, removed before pricing. |
| Net weight | Gross weight minus the deduction. |
| Purity | The tested karat, such as 22K or 18K. |
| Fine gold | Net weight multiplied by purity. |
| Rate | The 24K gold rate per gram used, and when it was fixed. |
| Value at the day's price | Fine gold multiplied by the rate. |
| Less: loan payoff (pledged gold) | The exact amount paid to your lender. |
| Less: any charge | Each fee or handling charge, named. |
| Money you receive | The final figure, written and agreed before anything moves. |
What we will never do
- Ask for OTPs, UPI PINs, card numbers or bank passwords.
- Ask you to send gold or money before you hold a written quote.
- Add a charge that was not on the slip you agreed to.
- Pressure you to decide on the spot.
- Keep or melt your gold before you say yes.
